## How we work

A flawless finish is 80% preparation and zero shortcuts. We don't use cheap builder-grade paints or bargain fillers that shrink, crack, or fade after a year. Every project starts with a strict surface inspection under work lighting—cleaning, scraping, and repairing with CGC Sheetrock compounds, followed by high-build Sherwin-Williams primers (alongside specialized Zinsser or Kilz sealers for tough stains) so the substrate is rock-solid. For drywall and popcorn ceiling removal, we build dead-flat planes through multi-coat mudding, FibaTape reinforcement, and 3M dust-controlled sanding. When it’s time for topcoats, we rely on premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints—plus Minwax and Cabot stains—matched to the exact room exposure and wear level. From Concrobium moisture treatments and Rockwool soundproofing to razor-sharp caulk lines and a spotless job site, we obsess over the details you see—and the prep work you don't.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do you offer free estimates for painting and drywall work?

Yes. I provide free, no-obligation estimates for interior and exterior painting and drywall work. I’ll assess the surfaces, note prep such as patching or wallpaper removal, and give you a clear written quote before any work starts.

### What areas do you serve around Toronto?

I work in Toronto and roughly a 50 km radius around it, for homes and small commercial spaces. If you’re unsure whether your address is in range, send your location and I’ll confirm quickly.

### How long does a typical paint or drywall job take?

It depends on size and prep. A standard room (walls and ceiling) is often 1–2 days including prep. Full interior repaints, exterior staining, or larger drywall repairs usually take several days to a week. I include a realistic schedule with the estimate and keep you updated.

### Can you repair water-damaged drywall and treat mould?

Yes. I handle water-damage drywall repair—boarding, taping, mudding, and sanding—plus mould and moisture treatment with products such as Concrobium and proper sealers. Once the surface is sound, I prime and finish so it’s ready for paint.

### What paint and drywall materials do you use?

I use Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, and Dulux paints and stains, with Minwax and Cabot where staining is needed. Drywall work uses CGC Sheetrock, FibaTape, and Zinsser or Kilz primers, chosen for the surface and conditions so the finish holds up.

### How do you protect my home during painting or drywall work?

I cover floors, furniture, and fixtures, use dust control during sanding and popcorn removal, and keep the job site tidy day to day. Milwaukee tools and careful prep help limit mess, and I clean up before I leave so you can use the space again.
